This is the Middleton Inn designed by W.G. Clark Architects. We arrived at the Inn by taking a path through the forest from the plantation.

Middleton Place has some of the oldest landscape gardens in America.

This is a neat gate feature. The weight of the concrete block closes the gate after you pass through. Very simple but effective.
